Skyward Fund Chairman Zou Shuji Exchanges Views with Shaoguan Party Secretary Chen Shaorong in Hong Kong on Compute Export and “Inbound Data Processing”

On March 27, 2026, Skyward Fund Chairman Zou Shuji attended Shaoguan Municipal Government’s international promotion event in Hong Kong and exchanged views with Shaoguan Party Secretary Chen Shaorong on the development of compute infrastructure in the Greater Bay Area, the global export of compute services and the policy direction of “inbound data processing.”

As the AI industry continues to accelerate, compute infrastructure is becoming increasingly important as a foundational layer. As a major node within the Greater Bay Area’s national hub framework, Shaoguan has in recent years advanced the development of data center clusters and intelligent compute capacity, showing notable potential in industrial carrying capacity, network coordination efficiency and regional resource integration.

During the exchange, both sides discussed the industrial positioning of compute resources under Hong Kong-Shaoguan coordination, possible pathways for exporting compute services to overseas markets and the institutional innovation represented by inbound data processing. The discussion covered multiple dimensions, including compute resource deployment, cross-regional data and service coordination, international gateway functions and the development of digital services trade.

Skyward Fund believes that the Greater Bay Area offers unique advantages in industry, capital, application scenarios and international connectivity. In particular, Shaoguan’s capability in hosting compute infrastructure is highly complementary to Hong Kong’s strengths in internationalization, compliance, finance and settlement. As the AI industry continues to deepen, new opportunities built around compute foundations, global service delivery and digital infrastructure are becoming increasingly important areas for research and attention.

Looking ahead, Skyward Fund will continue to follow the development of compute infrastructure, global AI service delivery and related industrial coordination in Shaoguan and the broader Greater Bay Area, while actively studying relevant investment and cooperation opportunities in light of market demand and long-term industry trends.
